J Brand Love Story Wide Leg Flares White
Rails Plaid Shirt
Illesteva Leonard Sunglasses
Saint Laurent Sac de Jour Croc Bag

I hope everyone had an awesome weekend! I think this might be one of my favorite outfits to date. I’m pretty obsessed with Rails LA plaid shirts. If you don’t own one I recommend splurging and buying one. Guarantee it will be that one shirt in your closet that you reach to put on at least once a week. They are so soft and honestly what’s better than a lux plaid shirt? I wish I came up with this clothing line…brand name, must have plaid shirts? Genius.

I countered the grungy plaid top with a dressier bottom. Flares are so on trend and personally I think they are very flattering. Put on a pair of sky high wedges underneath and you instantly have long model limbs! Rails shirts are on the longer side so I tied it in a knot. With wide leg pants you want to stay away from a boxy top.

First of all your blogs name "Dressed for Dreams" is so awesome and motivational. Now back to your so cal meets New York look. I mean the flare jeans really take this look back to the simpler days of living in the big city when people didn't care so much about shape and construction. Also the tied up plaid shirt is most defiantly the source of "cool" for the rest of the look. The Saint Laurent bag is what i refer to as "New York" because you are so one handing that rugged bag like a new yorker. So inspired!
